Accessing the T3kk forum and GDPR

Agreement to use the T3kk forum:

T3kk - Systems - By accessing “T3kk” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “T3kk”, “https://forum.t3kk”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “T3kk”. We may change these at any time and we’ll do our utmost in informing you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of “T3kk” after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.

Our forums are powered by phpBB (hereinafter “they”, “them”, “their”, “phpBB software”, “www.phpbb.com”, “phpBB Limited”, “phpBB Teams”) which is a bulletin board solution released under the “GNU General Public License v2” (hereinafter “GPL”) and can be downloaded from www.phpbb.com. The phpBB software only facilitates internet based discussions; phpBB Limited is not responsible for what we allow and/or disallow as permissible content and/or conduct. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “T3kk” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “T3kk” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “T3kk” nor phpBB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

T3kk - GDPR - To comply with the EU GDPR (2018) you need to be made aware of the following.

In addition to the above T3kk will also store all of the IP address that you use to post with. Depending on your preferences T3kk may send you emails to the email address that you used when you registered or you have subsequently changed but you are able to change these preferences from your User Control Panel (UCP) at any time should you wish to stop receiving them.

The personal details that you gave us when you signed up will be used solely for the purposes of T3kk forum functionality. They will not be used for anything else and neither will they be passed on to any third party without your explicit consent.

The only other information about you is that which you decide to post in the forum, whereupon it is considered to be “publicly available” as it may have been indexed by search engines as well as on-line archive sites. (Even though we lock down guest and bot access to prevent such activities taking place).

By using the T3kk forum you accept to be bound by these terms.

Yep, actually borrowed from another forum and adjusted to what we need. He actually has it as part of his registration system

And evidently the registration agreement I saw was an extension I have the details but it's currently incompatible with Tapatalk so until it's fixed we'll not be using it.
